‘Nobody grows old merely by living a number of years. We grow old by deserting our ideals. Years may wrinkle the skin but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul’  ~ Samuel Ullman.

What a great idea, I’m a firm believer in the young at heart, young in the face philosophy. For the mornings in the mirror when that thought couldn’t be farther from your mind… Enter Chanel Hydra Beauty Creme…

The cream is light in texture. It’s surprisingly light in texture given the level of hydration it gives. In the past when I’ve tried moisturiser that offered hydration they were thick and heavy. They plump out the skin and I don’t hate that, but this adds moisture in a more long term way.

The cream is the perfect base for tinted moisturiser or make-up. My skin loves it. The one downside to this face cream is I’m going through it very fast… I usually get about ten weeks from the standard 50ml jar. This is looking like an eight week jar. I can only put that down to how light the texture is. It will be a re-purchase! I think I love it just a little more than the Clarins Extra Firming moisturiser. They’re different creams, I reviewed the Clarins here.

In other news, if you haven’t picked up the travel razor by Gillette…

You should! This was so handy on holidays and the little box is so cute. It’s half price in Mc Cabes Pharmacies…{I bought it solely because it was half price…but…having used it, I would now pay the full RRP for it ~ perfect for holidays}

❤️ Siobhan.
