How do I start my Favourites this week? Where do I start? It’s been non-stop!
The weather in Kilmore Quay was stunning last Friday, we stopped into Saltee’s Chipper for the best Lemon Sole in the land. I’m sounding dramatic there… but that’s how good their fish is.
We left Kilmore and drove home via Kildare Village. My Easter bunny was very good to me. The twenty percent discount was too good to pass up.
I love them and haven’t stopped using them.
After our mini-break we took it easy on Saturday. A pit stop at the playground and the coffee shop. Keith and I had a great night with our friends Kevin and Anthony. They’re amazing hosts and Kev is an awesome cook!
We had a lovely Easter dinner followed by a truckload of chocolate. Keith and I then had a sneaky cinema date to see the Fast and the Furious 7. I’m a big fan of the franchise and this didn’t disappoint.
We had another early cinema trip with Tom and his cousins to see SpongeBob SquarePants. It was funny. We had a picnic in the afternoon and finished with an evening at the Carnival.
Tom is quite the daredevil and loved the rides.
The big wheel was fantastic with the sun setting on a glorious day. Tuesday and Wednesday we did boring things like cleaning.
We had a fun day with trip to the Pavillions for the train and coffee. We then spent the afternoon in Ardgillan Castle. The playground and grounds are amazing.
Today we skipped into town. There wasn’t any intention of shopping. It was purely a duck-feeding and lunch trip… Or so I thought…(monkey holding head emoji) These are a few more moments in the week.
These pretty flowers curtesy of Marks & Soencers.
Pretty pink bed clothes. Love them!
Guinness marketing team on point as usual, with the amazing campaign for the new Hop House 13! I’ve had a glass of it, It’s really nice. Have you tried it?
