I was not in the market to buy a bag!
Buying a handbag was the furthest thing from my mind.
I know when I chat online with fellow bag lovers, I joke that we haven’t left the shop and we know what’s next on the wishlist!
I know… But this is the sickness…when you love Handbags. (Realistically you’re reading this blog… you feel the same way) The Louis Vuitton Neo Noe, was reimagined and released a few months back. I was a fan of the older version.
What I’m NOT a fan of was the Louis Vuitton Vachetta leather and the Patina it develops (Mam that means the really pretty light coloured leather absorbs moisture, light and darkens depending on use)
So with no intentions of buying a handbag, Keith casually said to me on Friday…
“Siobhan, see Designer Exchange got in one of those bags you were talking about a while ago” … I knew exactly what he was talking about and I rang them immediately. I then went to my room and decided what I’d bring in to part ‘Exchange‘.
The bag was in immaculate condition… I mean it launched at the end of January. Such is its popularity that there’s a waiting list instore for it. (The black trim version at least) So why I love this bag.
1️⃣ The Neo Noe… LV I love the use of ‘Neo‘… has no ‘vachetta’ it’s finished with a beautiful black leather. Therefore there will be no patina.
2️⃣ The strap is adjustable, can be worn at two lengths. On the shoulder or cross body.
3️⃣ LV has but a zipped compartment in the middle of the bucket. Making it easier to find items in the bag.
4️⃣ The finish on the bag is more luxurious, than most of the LV canvas bags. It has golden hardware. The added features have just, in my humble opinion, made it look the money it costs. Each of the eyelets are stamped by LV. 5️⃣ The bag is finished inside with a bonded microfiber black finish. It’s classy and easy to lint roll. (I lint roll all my bags)
6️⃣ The drawstring doesn’t tie at the front of the new model, it’s drawstring pull is so much nicer.
I couldn’t be happier to have this bag. (Prepare for a barrage of Instagram Photos) I strongly advise having your name on the Designer Exchange List, for specific Handbags you might be looking for. Designer Exchange is such a great concept. You can part pay with bags and wallets you’re no longer using (I’m a big fan of doing this) and/or pay a deposit and set up a payment plan (interest free) over a set period of time. They have lots of treasures in the Dawson Street store, I think my find this weekend is proof of that. Highly recommend the service too. I’m a big fan! Have you been in Designer Exchange? What do you think of the Neo Noe?
