I don’t know about you, but as much as I love going shopping, even when the funds are low … and by low I mean non-existent… I love going for coffee in the middle of it all. If it’s a spendy day and you bought something, taking it out and opening it over coffee is a ritual that I love. I went into the M&S Cafe, with my mam recently for coffee and a scone but this quickly became Afternoon Tea when we saw the photos at the counter!

I am a huge fan of Afternoon Tea, Keith brought me to The Shelbourne for my birthday. It was amazing, and I would say worth the money for an occasion. But for a sneaky treat… I think it’s hard to beat the offering from M&S…

The sandwiches were sealed for freshness.

 The scones are yummy.

The mini tartlets were incredible, especially the Lemon ones.

They’re sweet and tangy. The berry tart is a reconstructed Eton Mess tart.

The service was nice and fast. We had our Tea in Liffey Valley. At €18 for two, I thought it was amazingly reasonable. Especially as it fed three of us. It looks small but as always with Afternoon Tea it was very filling. I had no idea M&S did Afternoon Tea! Have you/Would you try this out?

❤️ Siobhan.
