For three centuries, the Vikings raided the shores of Europe. These primitive pirates were masters of the sea. This weekend in Swords, the Viking settlements were reenacted and history was brought to life. It was a really nice fair and fun for all the family.

20140427-181206.jpgSwords Castle was open for a rare viewing and there was a presentation on all the weapons found in Dublin from the Viking Era. All in a well spent day in the warm April Sunshine. I spotted this bike resting outside the castle, how cute is this?
