Don’t ask the crazy girl, why she looooves ‘Afternoon Tea’… But doesn’t actually drink tea. Its just cray. But… Eh hello!…At the Shelbourne they’ll give you a mocha.

Keith and I have a few things that we do, playing pool, board games, movie nights to name a few, but high up on the list is Afternoon tea. I was shocked that Keith had booked tea for us in the Shelbourne, it’s pricey! Pricey but worth every penny.

It’s the best! (I apologise in advance if the photos make you hungry).

First came the sandwiches. They were unreal.

From the left; ham cornel, goats cheese and tomato, smoked salmon and egg mayo.

They were delicious.

Then came the tower for two.

The scones were to die for… with jam and clotted cream.

Then the top plate.

Some muppet, ME, has spent the last few years…okay all my life, …the shame… thinking I didn’t like trifle. I know!

If you like banana and coconut macaroons? You have to try this one! In fact even if you don’t like banana and coconut macaroons you have to try this one. #HEAVEN

Then there was this mousse cake, not as showstopper as the trifle and macaroon… But you know… It’s still sugar!

You know what… I really recommend this Afternoon tea, obviously a massive treat for the majority of us, but such a great afternoon.
Have you been, did you enjoy?

❤️ Siobhan.
